Publisher's Summary

A few days after Christmas and still disappointed, the nine-year-old boy saw a box with his name on it under his aunt's tree. His spirits improved almost immediately, and his excitement was difficult to contain. The gift had been wrapped in thin paper, thin enough to see through.

Not sure that Joy and Inspiration suits this Book

If you’ve listened to books by Rick Bragg before, how does this one compare?

I have and love his style.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No.

Any additional comments?

This collection of short stories was not what I expected in Christmastime stories carrying this title. The stories were likely well-written but did not hold my attention because I was expecting something more joyful.
