I bought this book based on the reviews, but I'm not sure who this book is for. I've been meditating for 5 years now, and wanted some practical meditations, or even some buddhist insight, on pregnancy.
However, the whole book is "mindfulness is great, my app is great, my business is great". It's off-putting.
Neither a mindfulness nor pregnancy book--just the calm ramblings of a guy talking about how he wanted to write a book, and about how now he's written it. I listened to so many baseless chapters thinking "surely this is the one where the book starts".
For a more mindful pregnancy book with yoga practices, try Active Birth. For meditation practices focused on pregnancy, try YouTube. And for calmness and bonding exercises, try HypnoBirthing classes.

What did you like best about The Headspace Guide to...A Mindful Pregnancy? What did you like least?
This is a decent listen, however it can be summed up succinctly as "meditation is a great thing to do, and headspace is a great app to guide you". If you meditate, it will help you in all areas ofyour life, but different techniques do target different things so the meditations are useful. Some reassuring bits in there about thoughts not being the definer of your existence. That's a very useful thing to know and remember at all times of your life, but especially during the more stressful ones!

No ending really as this wasn't a story...
Did Andy Puddicombe and Jane Collingwood do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

Worth a listen if you fancy it, some useful anecdotes in there from various ppl too

Basically don’t get stressed or you’ll harm your baby is the theme. Obviously the idea is that a woman is a vessel for a foetus and she should be able to suspend all life stresses while pregnant.
