Publisher's summary

In The Attractor Factor, Joe Vitale combined principles of spiritual self-discovery with proven marketing principles to show how anyone can live a happy life in and outside of business.

Here's a breakthrough practical spiritual guide to achieving all your goals.

For the first time ever, one of the rarely discussed formulas for building wealth and achieving success in all areas is revealed in The Attractor Factor. Popular marketing and spirituality guru Joe Vitale argues that those who try hard and fail need to remake their inner beings in order to easily attract success, wealth, and happiness. Many people do the right things but get the wrong results; it's not so much what they do, as what they are inside. The problem for most people is self-sabotage. In five easy steps, Vitale shows anyone how to become happier and more successful by doing a few simple things differently every day. Part wealth-creation guide, part spiritual road map, part autobiography, The Attractor Factor offers inspiring, effective answers for anyone who wants to feel better, be happier, get wealthier, and get ahead.

Different Title, Same Book

Any additional comments?

On a road trip to my vacation location I listened to "Expect Miracles" by Joe Vitale and enjoyed the book. On the return trip I thought I would give "The Attractor Factor" a try. Imagine my surprise when it is the EXACT SAME BOOK including the intro. Purchase one of these books only and don't waste your money like I did.

Fast Forward to the Last Two Hours of This One

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If the author did not spend so much time bragging about himself and trying to sell me his other products.

What could Joe Vitale have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I understand that Joe Vitale is using his own life stories throughout this book as examples of how and/or why his methods work. I get that. I really do. However, for me, it just came across as being extremely braggadocious, to the point that I found myself literally rolling my eyes each time he launched into ANOTHER story that involved him taking an elaborate vacation, buying an outrageously expensive car, buying a large home, or making thousands of dollars with zero effort, especially since he manages to use these stories to also recommend some other book or product that he currently has on the market. It. Is. Obnoxious. The thing is, I think it's fantastic that he has all of those things, and obviously I want those same things for myself or else I wouldn't have purchased this audiobook. It's just the manner and frequency in which he talks about his own luxurious life that put me off so much. This book's only saving grace is that the last two hours of the recording actually DO provide some interesting and useful information. I especially appreciated the section about finding the origin of your negative feelings and the various methods he recommended to clear yourself from those feelings.

Did Joe Vitale do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Even though I did not appreciate how often he used stories about his own accomplishments throughout the book, Mr. Vitale did do a good job of differentiating himself from the other people in his stories.

What character would you cut from The Attractor Factor, 2nd Edition?

I'm not going to say that Joe Vitale should "cut" himself or stop talking about himself completely in his own books, but he definitely should consider toning it down a bit. It really muddied the overall message for me.

Any additional comments?

As I said above, the last two hours of this book actually do contain some information worth listening to if you are currently learning about and/or practicing the Law of Attraction. So, if you chose to purchase this audiobook, I highly recommend saving yourself some eye-rolls and just skip ahead to the last two chapters.

Lots of info

This is a wonderful book. The 5 step process to attracting what you want. There's a lot of good insight and stories and since it's written by Joe Vitale it has it's share of advertising which I generally ignore. But this is one that you need to listen to a few time to get all the info that's provided.

After a few reads I realized there's so much information in this book that the 5 steps get lost, so I began writing notes on the audiobook to weed out all the information and get to the bulk of the 5 steps. I would recommend this for most as from the time you listen to this until the end, you forget the beginning.

A Few Gems in this Book

What did you love best about The Attractor Factor, 2nd Edition?

Chapters 1- 3 -- he talks about the importance of taking responsibility for your own life experience.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Attractor Factor, 2nd Edition?

The example of "little me" traveling down a beam of light. Many people are afraid to let the little version of themselves explore and take risks.

Which character – as performed by Joe Vitale – was your favorite?

Joe

Any additional comments?

I just have to say, I don't understand how any reader who studies and understands the Law of Attraction and other self development concepts can be so negative in an evaluation of a book like this one. You get what you give. I am glad that I didn't listen to the negative 1-star reviews because I did grab a few valuable gems from this audio, thanks!

A very long commerical

This was a pretentious book by a pretentious author about a pretentious subject matter. Vitale is not at all believable. Of all the people who emerged after the success of "The Secret," Vitale is the one who should give it up and accept the fact that he is only out for money.

Excellent!

Finally, a step-by-step process on how to use the Law of Attraction. There is a bit of fluff... but overall, especially the last half of the book is great information. Highly recommended for people interested in using the LOA.

A must listen

I love this book! That is, after you get past all the marketing of other products. I think a lot of people will see this title as well as an author who stared in the secret and think that it's more preaching about that but I didn't get that feeling at all. I found a lot of what he talks about I can apply to just about every part of my everyday life. All in all this is a must read for anyone who wants to start being a better person spiritually for no other reason than for themselves.

I want my credit back!

No guidelines, just some lame histories about the author with no real value or support.

Excellent Audiobook!!

Joe Vitale has been inspiring me for years. I love his practical approach and the clarity of his message. This is one of my favorite audiobooks. My other Law of Attraction favorite is Manifest Your Millions by Eddie Coronado. They are both life-changing books.

Great Advice

It's practical advice. Something that can be referred to often and each time the message will change depending on where you are in your life.
