All you need to do is set a deadline - one month from today - for your pain to end, and let Catherine guide you through it.Catherine's solid, empathetic advice will help you take responsibility for your recovery, repair your self-esteem, and learn from the best and the worst of what you've been through. "Look at it this way," she says, "you only have to follow these rules for 30 days. There's nothing you can't handle for 30 days, except feel like you're feeling today."

Who let her write this?

If you are going through a break up, get the Greg Behrendt book, "It's Called a Break-up Because It's Broken." I know, you are suspicious of that book. And if you already have it - listen to it again instead of buying this book.

This one is full of bitter fluff. She is a little harsh, and really it's a very self-serving book. The author idolizes Dr. Phil, which makes sense in light of her advice. In her 30 Day solution - she gives you the first 3 days to cry. She uses trite advice like "To belittle is to be little." I got very little out of it, and actually had to fight believing some of the bad and unsettling advice she gave.
