Publisher's summary

Discover how Tapping can help you release your negative beliefs about money and open the door to more wealth than you ever imagined. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as Tapping, has become a popular tool for realizing goals, as evidenced by the recent New York Times bestseller The Tapping Solution by Nick Ortner. For many of us, one of our main aspirations is to flourish in our careers and, by extension, in our finances. Yet limiting beliefs and fears keep people stuck in their current financial states. EFT uses the fingertips to tap on acupuncture points while emotionally tuning in to negative attitudes and past experiences, allowing people to transform their thoughts and feelings. Margaret M. Lynch teaches people how to harness the power of Tapping to identify and clear the blocks to prosperity.

Good Content, Bad Narration

I bought the audio book after I purchased the Kindle edition figuring I could use Whispersync to get through the material a little quicker. You know, listen on the way to work and read the Kindle at lunch. The content is very helpful and I am enjoying what I'm learning. The author is very knowledgeable about the subject and I had quite a few "aha" moments. So for the content it is four stars all the way. But here is when the audio book falls short. There are tapping scripts that are to be done by the reader. The narrator reads through them so quickly you can't keep up. Instead I would listen to the audio book up to the tapping scripts then revert to the Kindle edition to actually do them. So, if you're thinking about just buying the audio book I wouldn't recommend it. I would say spend the money on the Kindle version and don't purchase the audio book. For me, it was a waste of money.Overall the audio book is a "fail".

Good book, terrible narration.

What would have made Tapping into Wealth better?

A narrator that understood tapping. Karen Saltus goes thru the tapping scripts way too fast and it is weirdly non rhythmic so it makes it really hard to follow and most frustrating because you just cannot tap along as she is reading way too fast with no pauses in between sentences. I had to purchase the kindle copy to be able to use the scripts.

How could the performance have been better?

I do not understand how this audio book was approved by the author when the whole premise of a tapping book is to have its readers tap along to the scripts, and the narrator literally left no pauses in between sentences. It was impossible to follow the scripts.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The content is very good. I will leave a completely different review on my kindle purchase. I just feel like I wasted my money buying the audio book.

Why would author approve this rendition?

Any additional comments?

Narrator obviously has no clue how to tap - tapping scripts are read way too quickly. Buy the kindle version - this is no good. Very disappointed.

Horrible Narration... Buy the regular book!

What made the experience of listening to Tapping into Wealth the most enjoyable?

I had to slow down the speed in order to even be able to try listen and absorb this book. As it was, the narrator sped up for the tapping exercises, which was beyond ridiculous. There was no way to follow along. I've purchased other tapping audio books, and they were great... gave you time to follow along. Publisher should think about having this book, which is so valuable, re-narrated by someone else who understands tapping and reads more slowly so that listeners can absorb the information and follow along with the exercises.

What other book might you compare Tapping into Wealth to and why?

As to the book itself, I'd compare it to The Tapping Solution and The Tapping Solution for Weight Loss and Body Confidence by Nick and Jessica Ortner, respectively.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Karen Saltus?

Let Jessica Ortner do it. Even though she struggled with pronunciation sometimes, she made the book very listenable and the exercises were slow enough to follow along.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I hated the narration. I typically by the audio book and the actual book, but in this case, I'd say, don't bother buying the audio book... it's just narrated too fast to enjoy listening to or to follow along and do the exercises.

love how this has changed my life

Doubled my sales made life easier happier and more joyful. I constantly recommend this book to many people with the hopes they will receive even half of what I've received so far. thank you thank you thank you. There's one thing I would recommend is to have it reread and the tapping scripts read more slowly so they can be utilized in a much stronger better way thanks again. Aileen

Narrator: read the instructions!

If the instructions in the book say to repeat the following phrases, then after you read them, allow time for the listener to repeat the phrases.

Life Changing Content

I'm on fire about this book! It feels like a must read for anyone who is remotely dissatisfied with their income, or anyone starting out on their life journey.

I've had a number of unexpected successes with Tapping, and the content in this book is no exception. The author is insightful and thorough.

I felt the narrator blew too fast through the actual exercises, so it was a bit hard to follow along, as suggested, at those times, but it was otherwise fairly well read.

Life changing!

Wow incredible book. The exercises in this book made me dig deep into my subconscious and see so many limiting beliefs that were holding me back. Although at times very uncomfortable and lots of tears were shed, I feel an incredible weight has been lifted and I so ready to move forward.
My money situation shifted gradually as I made my way through the book...it was so exciting to see immediate changes.
This book delves into so much more that money...I found the goal setting chapters very powerful and eye opening.
Thanks for this incredible resource!
Kim

A new way to incorporate EFT for wealth

I knew about EFT but never thought about it for creating more wealth in my life. I appreciate Margaret book and explaining how we can bypass our subconscious blocks with EFT tapping to eliminate wealth blocks. Easy read I recommend for people who need to try a different approach to ridding themselves of stubborn poverty consciousness.
