Good Content, Poor Deliver

Good content except the audio is full of awkward pauses in the middle of words and sentences. Very stilted. Sounds like someone read a script for the first time in poor lighting into a cassette recorder and without doing any editing of the audio

Good, basic information and then some. . .

I read another review and downloaded "Talking Cooking" anyway. It is good basic and valuable. How Maria speaks or reads was helpful, it was like the real life experience of sitting in the kitchen with her. . . and she had a couple of notes on a pad so she didn't want to forget what was important. This lady has a lot of information and helpful hints. I am a bachelor man and this is just what I needed to get started and then some. . . it is eductional and fun. My only criticism is that it didn't go on for another two hours. Even if you already know how to cook - don't pass this up! There are tips, like the ones on cooking with children that are well worth the money and time. Have fun with it.
