Very soothing stress management audio

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I think it's easy to forget that being stressed isn't actually normal for long periods of time. I have friends that are stressed about work every work day - they can't stand Monday through Friday. That's more than half the entire week! I recommended this audiobook to a few friends already who have this stressful outlook on the work week. I do know how hard it can be juggling many responsibilities, and this audiobook and others like it remind me not to stress so much.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My reaction was the lowering of my blood pressure. Before I sat down to listen to it, I had a million things on my mind, what errands still need to be run, what's for dinner, what's the schedule for tomorrow, etc. In the middle of listening to this audiobook, I wasn't thinking about any of that. By the end, I felt much more relaxed and clear headed. I found this to be a powerful tool that really helped me come back to the present moment.

I really enjoyed the vibe of this audio and how it puts you in a peaceful state of mind at any part of the day.

The affirmations are believable. The lady's voice is not annoying. This is really helping me with anxiety.

Background music ruins it.

This is really relaxing up until chapter 3, or someone got the brilliant idea of banging on a tin can through the entire meditation. It’s so stupid it’s funny.
