As an Energy Healing Practioner I am advising all of my clients to read Soul Shifts. It is a powerful but simple tool for anyone at any age to apply to their lives every minute of everyday.
I feel more Peace and Happiness in my life. And therefore, feel that I am a better person. Barbara will make you, laugh and cry on this journey of self love and discovery. I love " The Wall" story. I felt her pain because, I myself have climbed that wall. I know we all have. I felt her joy when she found joy, her sadness when she was sad. Her Happiness when she was Happy. We all are different. And yet, we are all the same. You will be saying, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! To Barbara and to yourself... 😄

I really liked the beginning of this book and was very excited about reading it. But what was strange to me is that the book itself, a lot of times, sounded like a commercial for itself. As if you weren't already reading it. Really strange... Then I felt there was a lot of judgment from the writer's part. She shares a lot of personal stories of people that just didn't get what it is to be on a spiritual journey and yet puts herself in a pedestal of enlightenment listing all her accomplishments and how amazing her life/work ethics are, as if she is the only one trying hard enough. She even uses the word lazy several times when referring to humans. It was just annoying to me. She sounds like a lady on the news the entire time. A little too mainstream for my taste. Did not resonate with me but she does offer some good information if you can get over the her self promotion. All in all, not at all what I expected.

Barbara deAngelis has put her heart and soul into this book. The metaphors used are wonderful and enlightening. The wisdom she gives is like opening a treasure chest of beauty. This book is a gift to the world with many souls shifting and creating a more loving world.

I didn't really enjoy this audiobook - I found it very rambling and unfocussed although there were some bits that were useful. But these occasional bits were buried in a lot of other stuff -
stories about her family and about herself - that i didn't find very useful at all. From a personal standpoint, I didn't enjoy the author's narration style - I found it cloying and somewhat smug and artificial. I am not likely to try her other books after this one.
Truly a gift from the authors heart. The book has a lot of framing up what is to be taught but as you move through the soul shift insights its apparent why this is required as it perfectly sets the framework of understanding for the reader. I loved the journey and walk away with some simple and some profound insights.
I thoroughly recommend this book for spiritual seekers who are ready to move from knowing to living spiritual principles.
Inspiring, reminding us we are all here to wake up to our purpose, live passionately
