Good enough to read twice over

excellent narration read by the author. good content. Many may sluff it off but I agree with most of the concepts and got value from this listen.

Introduction to the Concepts of Simple Abundance

I purchased this audio version months ago and never listened to it. I don't know why I waited so long because it was absolutely lovely. It presents the structure of the print version with short stories to illustrate the themes. It is NOT a word by word version of the print version but it is worth the 2 hours of your time to listen. I will be purchasing the print version soon.

a lovely soothing book

I found some of the topics to be overly General and cliche, but the booklet in overall was lovely and soothing the narrator did a good job and the piano excerpts were nice. Reminder to find your own pace and to live your authentic self

I have the book in print. The audio book is just as excellent. The narrators are great. My long commute to work becomes much easier to tolerate and I arrive at work in a better mood.

What made the experience of listening to Simple Abundance the most enjoyable?

This book made me realize that for all the things that truly matter in a women's life, we are all the same. Maybe one would have better shoes, better cars or better clothes but when we stop and look within our souls, we all have the same questions, thoughts and fears. She explains the 6 steps in great detail with stories and insight. If we all practice these steps you would truly have it all. Her voice was very enjoyable to listen to. Very inspiring. I have been going back to listen to it now and again. Definitely a great buy!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Simple Abundance?

The importance of gratitude and meditation. To be happy at home. The story about Jesus and the fishes. The story about the farmer who sold his farm to search the world for wealth in diamonds. How she celebrates her birthday every year. How to find your authentic self.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

How to celebrate your authentic self every birthday. How to use magazine cut outs and pictures that I like and inspire me. Stick them on a poster and go to it now and again to remind yourself who you really are and want to be.

Love this book, love the audio even more

Sarah Ban Breathnach has written some wonderful books that have helped me find the simple life. Her audio books are wonderful - her voice is a pleasure to listen to ask you learn how to live an authentic life.

If you could sum up Simple Abundance in three words, what would they be?

After reading her books I had a total awakening of my life, what I was here to do, what I really valued and who I wanted to include in my circle of life. Amazing book!!!!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Simple Abundance?

I loved this from her first book but did not fully understand it for several years and after I had read some of her other books. "Most People try to live their lives backwards they try to have more so they can be happy, the way it really works is that you first must determine what will make you happy and then work to get those things"This is probably not a direct quote but it is branded on my heart.

What about Sarah Ban Breathnach’s performance did you like?

I love her voice. She is perky but soothing

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Simple Abundance?

It has changed my life and lead me to other things that were part of the book i.e. Carolyn Myss, and her books, and one of my favorite gifts from the book was the music and the pianist, Kelly Yost who lives in Idaho. I have corresponded with Kelly and she has helped me to get all of her albums. Her music is one of my life pleasures. Thanks to Sarah. I have all of her books and I think my two favorites are Simple Abundance and Romancing the Ordinary.

Any additional comments?

In Romancing the Ordinary I learned to make Chocolate Soup. Love it I think I am Sarah's best customer since I have given away 35 of her books to those I love.
