It is a good tool for it's pourpose

What did you like best about Self-Talk for a Calmer You? What did you like least?

I liked the beginin and the ability it had to make the reader (or listener) to see inside the way they think. What I liked the least was how easy I lost interest on it.

Would you recommend Self-Talk for a Calmer You to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, because I think some of the concept might be very helpful.

Which character – as performed by Mike Slemmer – was your favorite?

It's non-fiction. It doesn't have characters.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It can't be a movie. It's non-fiction

Any additional comments?

It was a nice book. I try both, the ebook and the audiobook and I think that, even though the audio isn’t bad, the book might be more productive if read, not listen to. That is because there are some task that are needed to be done that might be a little hard if it’s only being listen to.

The content is good, but I like more the first chapters, I felt I was losing interest as I keep reading. It wasn’t an easy book to read, because in other for it to work, is needed a lot of mental effort and willingness to work.

It has some interesting tools to help a person to change the way is seen things, but the ability of the book to work depends on the reader’s self-consciousness and desire to change and willingness to work for that change.

boreat advice. Narrator was speed reading. I felt anxious getting thru each chapter.

4 stars for Content. 1 star for "Speed" narration. Narrator read the book excessively and extremely fast. This is a self help book. As I tried to quickly digest the great advice he was giving i felt I couldn't because he was speeding right thru it.
