The author purports to know so much about ancient Sparta and their way of life but seems to have totally forgotten the Greek caution against hubris. A huge portion of the book is pure bragging about the book and how smart you are to have bought it. The so-called advice is all common sense efficiency tips. And I didn't know the ancient Spartans would work into their morning routine flipping on the coffeemakers BEFORE hopping in a cold shower. I also didn't know they made a point of limiting screen time before bed.

Geared towards men only

To start off with, if you are a woman go somewhere else. This book is 100% geared towards men. There is no mention of woman besides the ability to attract them, maybe this is due to Spartans being a males dominated society. Still, I think the author could have made it unisex oriented.
The narration is also very comical. The narrator is pumped about the message, but at times I couldn't help but laugh while listening.
If you are a man looking for self discipline training, there are definitely some good tips that can help. But as a lady, there's not much we can use unless you want to pick and choose.
