Monotone voice

The voice is a bit too robotic. If you can get past that, it provides a nice summary of the book.

Kind of bummed.

It must have been a mistake on my part but I swear when I purchased this ... The description said that Brene Brown was the narrator... Not happy

Rule One ; Get the name right.

The narrator's voice is easy to listen to but every time he referred to the author Brene Browne as Breen. It drove me nuts. A quick search on the internet would have found a multitude of sources which would teach the proper pronunciation of the name. She is a famous and well respected author - for heaven sake - do some ground work.

I tend to be addicted to self improvement

While the premise of his book was appealing, the audio delivery of this synopsis disappointed me. It was fragmented, monotoned and boring, and didn't seem to explain the content well. Perhaps the full book is better but I don't think I would risk the audio version. The narration was pretty hard to follow. That said, the print book content seems very interesting.

Read the real book

The actual book is great! It's too bad this book is narrated by someone that wasn't educated enough to even pronounce the authors name correctly.
