It's a pitch. Pushing his seminar in every chapter

What disappointed you about Rich Habits?

Every chapter begins with a different tragic, sap story and ends with how someone invited them to the "Rich Habits" seminar and changed their life. The only thing you will get from this book is that you need to go to his seminar, otherwise there is no value.

What could Thomas C. Corley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He could have tried to offer some real practical or inherent value in some way, I spent my money and even worse, my time, listening to what ended up providing no value whatsoever. I kept reading thinking it would redeem itself at the end but it doesn't.

Would you be willing to try another one of Rich Grimshaw’s performances?

Maybe. I didn't have a problem with the narrator.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It tugs at your heart strings a little with the stories. A father losing his wife to cancer and having to raise the children on his own, unfortunately, it ends with him getting invited to this seminar and magically turning it all around.

Any additional comments?

A fine display of someone filling the internet with useless content and wasting peoples time with a book that will only benefit the author. If you want to pitch someone, don't try to fool them by doing it this way. There are far more creative ways to gather leads as an digital marketer.

It can be made into a nice blog post

Make a column for your bad habits and another column of your good habits. Ex) I watch too much TV, I will only watch 1 hr of TV weekly or daily. The idea is to build positive habits by replacing bad habits with good ones.

Improve everyday, build on knowledge of your industry daily, make goals, take care of health, don't overindulge in eating, be balanced. Do not procrastinate, use incantations, save 10% income, build relationships without expecting anything in return.

That is the summary of the book.
