Publisher's Summary

Mindfulness has proven medical benefits for relief from pain and stress, but what about addiction? As Kevin Griffin has learned, there is no more powerful tool than mindfulness for helping us cope with the moment-to-moment challenges of recovery.
With Recovery One Breath at a Time, this innovative teacher presents two sessions of mindfulness training adapted to support anyone currently in a recovery program or coping with addiction. This beginner-friendly audio offers both guided meditations and on-the spot practices for dealing with cravings as they arise, working skillfully with physical and emotional strain, identifying and disarming the triggers that lead us back to addiction, and cultivating positive states of mind for long-term health.

Essential recovery literature.

While true we never "graduate" from 12 step recovery, there are decidedly grades of advancement. Griffin is wo doubt the teacher when the student is ready for the next level.

Great, short, sweet, liberating.

Good listening for those who (like me) struggle with addiction and who find A.A. or N.A. intolerable... A must "listen to" for those like me.

Great book

This is the first book on mindfulness I have consumed and it makes a lot of sense, in fact it has confirmed things and theories I had always knew deep down where true. - just got to be end of the book, but I think I need to read it one more time, there is a lot of detail to take in.
