Publisher's Summary

Challenged with alpha horses that seem to be fighting you instead of cooperating? You can reach these horses and form incredible partnerships with some easy-to-implement ideas to build rapport and understanding. Since each horse is different, this audiobook offers you tips for customizing an approach to bridge a bond only you can experience with your special equine companion. Verbal illustrations of young-horse-training cases with alpha mares help show you what can work, and why - along with what didn't. Also included is a final list of things to consider when working with alpha horses for easy reference, and reminders.

What disappointed you about Reaching Alpha Horses?

There are no techniques included in this book. If you think you'll find some ideas for dealing with your Alpha Horse here, you'll be completely disappointed.

Has Reaching Alpha Horses turned you off from other books in this genre?

Although this is fairly typical - some horse-help books are good and some are like this - touting the author's accomplishments without helping the reader at all, I hope more people will write reviews so the rest of us can spend our money on books that will actually provide some help.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kathleen Godwin?

The narrator was fine.

What character would you cut from Reaching Alpha Horses?

See answer to first question.

Any additional comments?

This book wasn't helpful - unless you have enough money to send your horse to Halcyon Farms
