First time trying self hypnosis - I am hooked

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This was my first time trying self hypnosis and I didn't really know what to expect. I was able to get some quiet time and then just played the audio ... it was like an epiphany for me. I don't know if it worked yet (only tried it a few days ago), but something about my attitude feels different. I am more in the mood to work out and temptations are easier to resist (was able to say no to a coworker's donuts and a birthday cake slice!). I have been able to stick to my diet thus far and am loving my mood. So far, it's been pretty heavenly and I hope it lasts. If not, I will listen to it again! Really great hypnosis.

impressive narration and an effective hypnosis

I wasn't sure what to expect with a hypnosis session like this, but I must say I liked the effect it had on me. This session sparked a desire for me to become a pesco-vegetarian (no meat or chicken, but seafood is allowed), and I have noticed a complete change in my energy levels. My waistline is starting to shrink and I don't crave meat at all. I know this isn't a vegetarian hypnosis, but it made me want to change my diet around for the better. I feel it was effective for me personally and I can't wait to ring in the new year in my new (smaller) red dress. Awesome narration too and great music.

Love this

I've been using this for a while and I love how it keeps me on track. I don't consider it a one time use thing, it doesn't work for me that way. Great in the morning to set your mind towards being healthy and staying on track with fitness.

nice way to lose weight

I like this as a compliment to my new diet habits. It's a nice way to stay on track and keep your thoughts in sync with your goals.

Good! It is right tot he point- you are the only one that can change your weight. It's mind over matter- no magic pill- just make better choices and get your head right. Perfect reminder to meditate on each day. 5stars

Calming and encouraging

I decided to try a weight loss hypnosis audio, not understanding quite how it would work. This is a very calming audio with about a half hour of very calming, supportive self image help and encouragement to eat in a healthy way. The whole remainder of the audio was merely very soothing music suitable to meditation. I will listen to it daily and give it a chance to change my thinking; however, I am a bit disappointed at the shortness of the message itself.

15 min long

I'm sorry but I expect the length to more closely represent the actual time of talking. Sure if you have a couple min of music at the end to wrap up the mediation that's great, but 3/4 of it should not be the wrap up meditation music. That's just wrong. I really hope audible does something about this.

Relaxing but disappointed

I wish I would've read the reviews beforehand. Only 15 minutes followed by an hour of meditation music. It's very disappointing.
