Puppy Training: Raising the Perfect Puppy (A Guide to Housebreaking, Crate Training & Basic Dog Obedience) by Shannon O’Bourne and Peter Whitman was a good read. This was a great guide to the best techniques to training your dog.

Great information for any age dog.
I wish I had read this when I first got my rescue dog... She was already a few years old at the time and has taught me a thing or two. This book gives great advice and information that will still apply to her and I look forward to trying some of these techniques with her.
