Great ideas - Well written - Dodgy narration

Where does Painless Presentations rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks very highly. I would still recommend it even though I knocked points from it for it's narration problems.
It has some great ideas about speaking in public - the main thread I took from it is 'be prepared' !

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lenny is an enjoyable narrator for the most part, however, the tone of his voice can change from chapter to chapter or even from sentence to sentence..I felt that during the editing process, someone had cut and paste too freely and as a result his tone chops and changes.

It's distracting at first listen, but you get used to it.

What about Lenny Laskowski’s performance did you like?

His deadpan delivery grows on you. He has a dry sense of humor which I love.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Stand and deliver....

Any additional comments?

I liked the author's personal touch with anecdotes about his family. He obviously knows a lot about his topic and I got a lot of really great ideas from this audiobook.
