Clearly three stars for the story because there is no story on a hypnosis recording, but I didn't want to drop it to one because the result deserves better. Rachael Meddows has my attention. I tried this because I was desperate and curious. I am an insomniac by nature, and as a side effect of not sleeping much, I have health issues, tend to be grouchy a lot of the times, and that in turn feeds the insomnia... It's a big monster that cannot be sated.
Or so I thought.
Enter Rachael. Her voice sounds very much like the same voice used on the Skype call service that you use to test your microphone settings... except more soothing and less "morning perky." So she passed the first test - her voice is attractive and calming, two things you want in hypnotherapy.
But then the real test. I've tried this every night for two weeks solid. Not only do I fall asleep inside 15 minutes, I stay asleep most of the night. If I do wake up at all, it's just long enough to roll over. I haven't slept this well in nearly 20 years. When I wake up in the morning, I'm refreshed and ready to take on the whole Empire myself. What's more, I'm happy to do so. HAPPY. Is it that I'm just sleeping? Is Rachael's voice? Is it the nature of the hypnosis? Is it a combination of all factors? I don't have those answers. I just know it's working, and it's convinced me to try more of her titles.
They say 21 days to break a habit, 30 days to reinforce a new one, so I'll try another title after 30-35 days and see if I can't continue to build on this progress. Worst case scenario, I'm sleeping well, and those nasty side effects are disappearing. All that for a single credit? People spend thousands of dollars on vacations and medical treatments and don't get that kind of result. As far as I'm concerned, this woman is my new best friend.

Ive been listening for almost 3 weeks now and it wasn't until today that I realized that my thought patterns have completely changed. Even though I am steadily surrounded by negativity, It does not seem to affect me the way it did before I listened to this Self-Hypnosis.
I find her voice very calming and relaxing, so much so that I have yet to stay away for the entire staircase induction....I seem to wake up for the last 20 minutes of crashing waves, and I feel like I've slept for hours.
I would certainly recommend this to others, I am excited to tell some of my friends who desperately need this!

The first time I listened to this I was asleep after the first 15minutes and I usually have great difficulty sleeping. The key is to take it seriously, even though some phrases are slightly amusing, and to be in a dark room on your own. I've definitely noticed I've slept much better and my mood has changed day to day so I would recommend anyone with an open mind to hypnotherapy and struggles to sleep, worries too much, to give it a try.
