Publisher's Summary

Parents are often faced with the question: what is the best way to discipline a child most effectively? Children that undergo physical punishment may experience shame, guilt, and physical and emotional pain. Perhaps physical punishment is viewed as an affective discipline tool by many, but is it effective and psychologically safe in the long term? Children learn through examples and modeling. Wouldn't it be better if adults teach and discipline children through non-violent means? This audiobook provides tried and true parenting interventions and suggestions that address the needs of both the child and the parent.  The book offers healthy resolutions to familiar problems.

For people with no common sense

This was the worst parenting book I've ever read. It gives scenarios and then what to do, but if you have an ounce of common sense or self-awareness you would already know the answer. Don't waste your money.
