Publisher's Summary

We all experience many states of consciousness, from ordinary waking and sleeping to extraordinary states in which we are more at peace, particularly aware, or exceptionally creative. Each of these states is associated with a particular pattern of brainwave activity. Dr. Jeffrey Thompson has been experimenting with sound and brainwaves scientifically since 1980, developing innovative techiques for embedding brainwave audio pulses into musical soundtracks. After a few minutes of listening, your own brainwaves naturally "lock" onto the inaudible pulses, and lead you easily into the state of mind you choose.

Unclear on the Concept

Would you try another book from Jeffrey Thompson and/or the narrator?

I enjoy listening to relaxation tapes, I thought Jeffrey Thompson had created a new concept of that sort of idea. I was confused which different song was connected to meditation, which was for relaxation, creativity, healing or sleep. No explanation or direction was given. Very disappointing. So I do not think I would try another of these books.

What did you love best about Music to Change Your Brain?

I would like the titles of each chapter to download thru my audible app. I think it would help me with my selection of what I want to listen.
