I have attended mindfulness courses and read and listened to many mindfulness books and this is definitely one of the best. If you are suffering from pain or illness and have never tried mindfulness, this is a perfect place to start. Vidyamala Burch has personal experience of chronic pain and her own use of mindfulness techniques to help with this is extremely inspiring. She narrates this beautifully- her voice is empathetic, soothing and inspiring. This is also a fantastic listen, if like me, you already have some experience of mindfulness meditation. The mindfulness exercises at the end of the book are some of the best I have found on audio.

Would you listen to Mindfulness for Health again? Why?
I'm going to soon, I got so much out of it the first time and am sure the second will reaffirm the inner peace and warmth this book helped me find.

An amazing start to a journey into mindfulness for me, and a book that a plan to return to many times whenever in need of a little guidance. I'd recommend this to anyone suffering from pain, mental, physical or both. Well written, in a way other self help books aren't, this one really doesn't make you feel to blame. Gives you knowledge and techniques, and guides you in how to apply them.

This audiobook has really helped me. It has helped me to learn about mindfulness ( I didn't know anything about it before I began) and to manage my chronic pain. I am very grateful to the authors of this book. I will persist with mindfulness for the rest of my life.

Excellent course for chronic pain sufferers . Vidyamala has a wonderful speaking voice.
