The good, the bad, and the ugly...

Well actually just the good and the bad - nothing truly horrendous. My complaints are not with the content of the program, but with the production. At first I thought it was just a convoluted mess. There are several inroductions to the concept of hypnosis, but the main introduction to the work appears to be in chapter 7 - or 9 - take your pick. I finally realized this is not one work, but a compilation of different self-help hypnosis programs, and not in any particular order. Some simple things could make this much more user-friendly: include a PDF Table of Contents with the download, break the chapters into topical subjects, and put breaks at the beginning of each hypnosis session so they're easier to access on your iPod. Also, in chapters 2 and 6, she says before the second hypnosis session that you'll be instructed to awake feeling refreshed, but you are actually instructed to go to sleep. Basically, the form is introduction to topic, morning session where you awaken refreshed, then bedtime session where you go to sleep. Then there is just some music randomly thrown in here and there that I can't use to study by because it puts me to sleep. Not sure of its purpose. {:-/ Lastly, she directs the listener to web pages for more information on certain topics. The problem - those pages apparently aren't there anymore.

Okay, that was the bad. Now to the good, which I must say even after all that still FAR OUTWEIGHS the bad. I dare say that if Ms. Montgomery is "eating her own cooking" so to speak, she is likely the most "together" person on the planet! Anyone who masters all these modules would be a mental and emotional powerhouse. I haven't finished but one, as it takes 21 days to get the most from each one. But I'm already seeing some pretty amazing changes for the better. My original concern about opening my subconscious up to such suggestions has been laid to rest. I listen to each module before I allow myself to relax and use it, and I've found nothing that concerns me. Of course, I would recomend that you do the same, as your beliefs may differ from mine.

The changes I've seen in myself have convinced me. Even my dreams (my subconscious communicating with me) reflect a more confident, self-assured and peaceful person who is not afraid to tackle new situations. I can't wait to start the Enhanced Memory and Speed Reading sections! All said, if the producers tweak this and clean it up a bit (say, version 2.0), then I couldn't possibly give it any higher marks! I highly recommend it. The benefits received have definitely been worth the time, money, and confusion!
