A Lovely Way to Wind Down and Relax
Would you consider the audio edition of Meditation for Beginners: Reduce Stress, Sleep Better, and Feel Great to be better than the print version?
I am new to audiobooks, but I really loved being able to listen along with this meditation book. It felt more like a guided meditation than just a self-help book.
What other book might you compare Meditation for Beginners: Reduce Stress, Sleep Better, and Feel Great to and why?
Though this isn't a book, I personally would compare this to Headspace or other meditation apps. The narrator's voice was calming and I really felt like I was being guided along in meditation!
Have you listened to any of Gabrielle Walder’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I have not, I am very new to audiobooks. But I will keep an eye out!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really enjoyed the FAQ section, I find that meditation has so many different definitions and origins that it can be overwhelming to try and meditate the "right" way. This audiobook did a great job of demystifying some of these aspects and make me feel at home meditating in my own way.
Any additional comments?
I was hesitant to get into audiobooks, but after this I'm looking forward to my next meditation book! It is a great way to learn about meditation and self-help since the narrator feels as though they are guiding you along with them. It's a more personal experience than just reading the book.

For those curious about meditation
This is a good start for anyone interested in the benefits of meditation. There are no actual meditations in this book. It's all about the benefits to be acquired from meditation. This book's suggestive tips on staying and keeping focus is perfect for those who say they have tried meditation and it didn't work for them. Adding at least one guided meditation at the end would have made it a 5 star for me. I was given this free audio book and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.
