Publisher's summary

Is what we do with our money really any of God’s business? Does God mind if we spend money on ourselves? What about debt? Savings? Retirement? How much does God expect us to give? God cares immensely that we manage money with an eternal perspective. Scripture’s teaching on this subject practically screams for our attention. In fact, Jesus says more about money than any other topic—including Heaven and Hell. In a simple, easy-to-follow format, Randy Alcorn addresses exactly what the Bible says about how we should handle the money and possessions God owns and entrusts to our management. Filled with helpful Scripture, Managing God’s Money is the perfect resource for anyone interested in gaining a solid biblical understanding of financial stewardship. It’s great for groups and churches, too!

Best book I've read on financial stewardship.

This is higher level stuff. Randy is working at the 10,000 foot view. Not the tactical level like a Dave Ramsey book. This is a lot of the why and not so much the how. A fantastic read to set a good baseline.

This is what is needed in today's world, for the good to do something of eternal value with the money entrusted to them.

A good read for Christians-God's purpose for money

Good read. A little vague on why Christians ought to prosper. Gives good advise in giving for the kingdom.

Convicting

We who live in America are conditioned to think primarily of ourselves and what we can get to satisfy the yearning in our souls. If that’s how you got here then I can’t strongly enough recommend this book.
If you’re here out of curiosity then I can’t strongly enough recommend this book.

Let your heart be changed by the God who loves you unconditionally.

Biblically correct

Some of his thoughts on credit cards were personal and not biblical. It really stuck out to me as he was defending his own use of them amd seemingly making it ok. The issue is, most people don't use then correctlt, and in turn are not managing God's money God's way. The book was great though and had a ton of great insights of how the bible tells us to handle money.

some good words. but Randy Alcorn way over Emphasized tithe and giving ( half the book). no preacher or ministry should speak on money

Real eye opener

I learnt a lot and it was a real eye opener on how we need to manage His money, it is not ours to hord and collect for ourselves. Thanks for sharing your insight Randy.

A handbook- stewardship of God's wealth

I loved it. This book sheds more light on stewardship, being good managers of wealth given to us by God.
