Parts of this book were great - especially the coverage of empirical studies in love, marriage and genders. I really liked the idea of holding true to your must haves and the relationship risks of not doing so.
However, at times this book seems to promote what feels like highly manipulative tactics - mainly aimed at how women should, or shouldn’t, behave towards men in order to obtain a marriage proposal. I think the author strays from the science and makes recommendations based upon her own (n=1) opinions, experiences, frustrations and mistakes.
I really had hope for more balanced coverage that ultimately aided both sexes in securing a successful, long-term relationship. In the end, I was very disappointed with this book and am likely to only use ~20% of the advice.

This book is one of the best out there on the psychology of dating. Nothing woo woo about Duana!
The framework discussed is excellent and deserves merit. The rest of the book is disgusting. It encourages women to manipulate men to get them married for their money. It encourages men to be weak beta males so that women can take them for everything.

This is a great, science based book that provides some tough to hear advice to men and women on dating and finding commitment. I would strongly recommend it to anyone that is single or currently dating.
