"Making and Cultivating Friends for Life"

This is a very useful and helpful book for people who are shy or have difficulty in making lasting friendships. It explains the three things that define what a friend is. A friend is a person who has a mutual bond, a companion, or someone you can confide in.

I really liked some of the things this book discussed. It's helpful for anyone, although I can see this helping a lot of younger folks, for instance, new moms who want to make friends with other new moms or a perfect example is if someone is having to move around a lot and are forced to make new friends while maintaining long distance friendships such as military families. There's a lot of good information here.

Frances P. Robinson has written a wonderful book and I only wish it had been longer. I hope to hear more from her. And I like where she said to smile. A smile can go a long ways. RECOMMENDED.

Julie Eickhoff had an upbeat, positive tone which was perfect for this audiobook. I enjoyed listening to her narration. Really nice job. I look forward to more from her as well.

Great lesson and listen!

To the point and concise information on how to improve your friend ability and social skills. Even though I think I might be an introvert a lot of the things she said prompted me to discover some traits, feelings and tips that I could actually use to help in my new mission to find friends that I may have not explored or acknowledged. Also love that the writer is speaking from experience!

Just all common sense, had nothing new to add.

The book only outline what caused problems but had no real solutions. Had some helpful tips but it was all mostly common sense on where to find friends and how to talk to people. Usually people who can't make friends have underlying problem and without solving those this book wont help.
