We've all got our favorite bands, be it Sabbath, Pantera, System of a Down or Slayer but now it’s time for you to be the Heavy Metal Guitar Master of your own destiny. In this series of programs, you'll start with the basics and then progress all the way through to advanced playing, copping Van Halen hammer-ons and Zach Wylde harmonic squeals in no time.
In Volume One, we start at the beginning with string names and tuning then straight onto playing, in no time you'll be playing the five basic open chords, and then we'll cover power chords, rock scales, licks, riffs, and much more. You'll get the low down on right and left-hand technique, alternate picking, palm muting and metal gear. And if that isn't enough, we include pentatonic minor and blues scales, and the key chords that matter in Heavy Metal playing. Bonus songs are included with in-depth looks at how to play riffs!
Special Features: Two killer, exclusive songs for you to jam along with! Metal tabs on every exercise!

Complete waste of money
Imagine viewing an instructional DVD where your very personal trainer shows you lots of cool tricks on guitar, guides you slowly through various scales, shows you how to hold your axe, your hands and your pick, how to do hammer-ons and other ways of advanced playing when suddenly your TV-set brakes down and you can't see a thing and have to listen to the voice alone. This is what it feels like when I started playing this audiobook. I should have noticed its category "RADIOTVPROGRAM" before buying it!
After a few minutes I realized that this is no audiobook but just the audiotrack of a standard DVD. And it's cut in half too. I googled the DVD...it's two hours long whereas the audiobook is a mere 57 minutes...
Do yourself a favor: Refrain from buying this...
