Very relaxing and engaging. I was generally happy to go along with the narrators friendly voice and disposition.
My only complaint about the script is the whiny "And how do you think money feels about you??" section. The reason is, you are happily meandering along as he talks, and suddenly you are being reprimanded, but kind of through a back door. And then he suggests very cerebral activities like thinking if your unpaid bills, making a list, and a 20 year old repayment plan. It makes it difficult to stay engaged.
Snapping: when the author first mentions the "third eye", he snaps his fingers forcefully and repeatedly. It is jarring and irritating because he snaps snaps snaps aleast five times. Being in the relaxed state one is, it made me want to punch the guy in the face lol. From that point on I tried to regain relaxation but was only marginally succesful. When he did the same thing again it for a second time, the session was completely finished for me.
What disappointed you about It's Time for Self-Esteem with Terry Elston?
Frankly I found it to be DULL DULL DULL and no help at all.
Would you ever listen to anything by Terry H Elston again?
I really doubt it, sorry!
What didn’t you like about Terry H Elston’s performance?
Very boring voice, it was hard to even pay attention.
Any additional comments?
Learnt nothing at all from this, had no effect whatsoever on my self esteem other than to leave me feeling frustrated.
