wrong information but good relaxation

Why counseling about substituting white sugar with brown one or honey if the hypnosis is meant to help one quitting? Good relaxation process followed by just some affirmations: there is no therapeutic transformation of meaning to help the unconscious mind to overcome addiction...and therapeutic hypnosis is all about this, isn't it? Good performance thought.
