Publisher's Summary

Insights & Distinctions takes us on a wonderful journey to the heart of the matter of our lives, to what matters most. It points out what's possible if we step outside of what we know and recognize and embrace our capacity to bring forth an entirely new possibility for living - not because it is better, but simply because that is what human beings can do.Landmark Forum leaders Nancy Zapolski and Joe DiMaggio push boundaries and bring forth what's possible in being human in this book of essays. Juxtaposing distinctions, literary nuggets, and contemporary science with the stuff of our everyday lives, they suggest that our lives and the way we know ourselves are open to being invented.

What the Critics Say

"These essays offer the kind of education and insight that allows me to tackle life's obstacles and move beyond my own limitations, releasing the true joy of being alive." (Kyra D. Gaunt, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Anthropology and Black Music Studies, award-winning author)
"Landmark's ideas are so effective because they are informed by serious, probing, high-level philosophical inquiry into what human beings are capable of doing." (Michael E. Zimmerman, Ph.D., Director, Center for Humanities and the Arts, Professor of Philosophy, University of Colorado at Boulder)

Too Short

Would have rated higher if not for its minimal duration. I took Landmark Curriculum for Living program a year ago and this review was outstanding.
