The tips are easy to follow. You're made to feel like you're not alone, that your insecurities are not silly, others are just like you, and that there are ways to adapt, to feel better about life. It's about self acceptance as well as changing your behaviour.

The main point I liked was the chapter regarding not letting what others say about you get you down, and that other people have their own insecurities.
A good mixture of tips, the authors own experiences and examples and advice to follow. There's enough of a mix so the book doesn't get boring. This book puts things into perspective and I think a listener would benefit from listening to it on a regular basis. It's also a decent length compared to some other similar books. I was gifted a copy of this book - all opinions are my own.
