Like "How To Win Friends"... but better!

Any additional comments?

I am a huge fan of How To Win Friends and Influence People, it was a book that changed my life by helping me develop my people handling skills. My disappointment with it however was that the bulk of it was made up of stories and not enough psychological insights or practical advice. How To Have Confidence and Power In Dealing With People however covers the very same topics but does the complete opposite. It provides a very thorough explanation on what the strategies are and why they work rather than making a point and merely using an anecdote back it up. So if you feel the same way as me about HTWFAIP then you're going to love this one.

This is NOT the book - it is BASED on the book!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

As mentioned in the title don't be deceived, the content is NOT as advertised!!

This is *not* the book in audio, it is *not* narrated by the author, and obviously *not* unabridged, as it is listed.

It is a program BASED on the book, and while good, it is not what I paid for, therefore the low ratings. I will be contacting Audible about this, and hopefully they can correct this totally inaccurate listing.

Would you ever listen to anything by Leslie T. Giblin again?

It isn't Leslie T. Giblin.

How could the performance have been better?

If it were actually the book as advertised, if it were actually the author narrating as advertised, if the listing was accurate.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from How to Have Confidence and Power in Dealing with People?

All of it, and would put the advertised book instead.

Any additional comments?

This is NONE of the things that it is listed as - not the book in any form, especially unabridged. It is not the author narrating.
