If so, then How to Be a Great Dad - No Matter What Kind of Father You Had is for you. It will teach you the highly effective skillset and essential mind-set you can easily master to become the dad you wished you'd had.

Your kids will love you more and become more successful in their lives when you learn the three simple, powerful skills this book teaches. You'll be amazed when you understand the impact fathers always make on their kids and inspired to leave the legacy you want not only for but also in them.

And you'll find help to make peace with your past with your dad.

"Keith's book is a game changer for me. Working through it is not for the faint of heart. I struggled big time, forgiving my father, and it changed my life. I love tools. Keith gave me tools to give to my children what they need from me - also a game changer. I knew some of the concepts, but Keith delivers, over delivers! If every man were to read this book it would change our world. Buy it, listen to it, do the work. It will rock your world." (Samuel)

Jack Canfield, cocreator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand and New York Times best seller of The Success Principles, writes: "I believe Keith's message is very important. I enthusiastically support him in his efforts to reach out to men everywhere, to help them heal and grow to become the great dads they long to be, and their children so desperately need them to be."

Keith reads the audiobook in his voice. He will guide you from start to finish, inspiring you to master the skillset and mind-set to become the dad you wish you'd had.

Critic reviews

"Keith Zafren is an inspiring guide on this adventure into the heart of fathering. [This book] will make you a better dad, and it may even help you forgive your own father for the mistakes he inevitably made." Worth the read.

This is a great to read if you are finally at the point in your life, when you're ready to heal. If you're not ready then this book will come across as a spiritual book or repetitive. Before you begin to this; you need to have the mindset to grow and change.

sales pitch at the end was a bit much

I loved the book, up until the last few chapters, when it became a bunch of testimonials and ads for coaching. Solid advice and so.e great tools presented

How to be a great Dad with help from Jesus

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Had the author stuck to the topic instead of bring Jesus into the conversation every five minutes he would have had a chance. Also - less anecdotal and more research would have been great.

What was most disappointing about Keith Zafren’s story?

Zafren seems really honest - and I believe he is. Frustratingly, like many books trying to be as long as possible, he feels the need to labour his points over and over and over. Fast forward is your friend.

How could the performance have been better?

This book needed to be edited.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The book is based on the 3 A's - affirmation, acceptance and affection. While there were too many the stories were nice.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book if you are a Christian and a father or a father and don't care about the religious overtones.

Deeply disturbing

As a youth leader I was disgusted by this book. Regardless of any point that may make sense. I found this to be a pedophiles book on how to groom children. This is a dark and disturbing listen. I didn’t make it a quarter way through before I had to stop.
