Healing mother-daughter relationship

What about Tim Powell’s performance did you like?

The narrator's voice is a pleasure to listen to - deep, sincere, calming, and provoking at times. Occasional breathing instructions feel so natural with the audio book version, and I found myself being returned to the present moment effortlessly. Beautiful flute inserts set a contemplative mood, as if a fresh wind clears a fog and brings the mind back to flow with life.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

The author’s advice on family relationships was quite timely and valuable to me. I’ve been searching for ways to communicate better with my adolescent daughter and tried different strategies from popular phycology and self-help books, but it only seemed to make matters worse. A friend of mine recommended this audio book and I listened to it while vacationing with my daughter. We practiced the method given by Johwa Choi in chapter “The way of harmony meditation”, and it worked!There is still much more to learn from the book and from myself. Many questions are posed to the listener, and they serve as an invitation for deep exploration and growth from within.I am happy to have found this book and will listen to it again.
