I like the author who's also the reader. I think this book is geared towards the younger generation. I bought the book because of the title but I was expecting a little bit more than I got. I think it's a great read if this is the first time you are reading about anxiety.

Would you try another book written by Robert Duff or narrated by Robert Duff?
Would you ever listen to anything by Robert Duff again?

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment that I used one of my Audible credits to listen to swearing and slang that was too "young minded" for my 54 year old brain. There was a bit of good information here but it wasn't presented in a way that I could relate to.

The narrator / authors delivery was good and the start of this book made me giggle a bit but from there it just got a bit boring. I don't know what I was expecting, I guess a book to drag me out the anxiety I've been feeling.. And to maybe pull me out of it a bit. But it didn't meet my expectations and it let me feeling a bit low. Wouldn't recommend this book. It doesn't even tell you anything you don't already know. Much better books out there. Shame.

In terms of anxiety management information I don't think there is much that is new or particularly groundbreaking here, however, the standout feature is the delivery. The content is delivered with enthusiasm, humour and sincerity. Although the authors style certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea, it resonated with me, I felt it was fresh and even inspiring...it felt like a conversion with a good friend. For me, this is a keeper and an audio book that I will revisit again.

We're all totally bored about our anxiety right? This book makes it interesting and you feel ok about your condition. I recommend this book to anyone suffering from anxiety, or Frank as the author calls his. The narrator/author/Dr is easy to listen to, understands and normalises anxiety. I felt like I was part of wider community reading this book, instead of alone with the miserable physiological and psychological symptoms of anxiety. The simple breathing exercise has made a world of difference and I feel a lot better. I will listen to this again and again.
