A Compassionate guide
I can't say enough about how much I appreciate listening and relistening to this recording. Jack Kornfield uses humor, insight, and great compassion to put words to whatever disaster has occurred in your life. He then gently guides the listener through a series of mediations that help to inspire, strengthen and provide perspective. He says that it isn't a self help book, but help it does. The author provides a new way of viewing the world and teaches a set of coping skills that really make a difference. The narration is centered, evenly paced and calming. The content is humane and kind. Highly recommended listening.
