Good audio for the beginner!

This book is great for the beginner gardener. I'm looking forward to the more experienced version

Enjoyable

The narrator has a very soothing voice. I would have to listen to this many times before I felt comfortable attempting to garden, but it was interesting to learn about and think about.

Reads The Table of Contents!?

I couldn't finish this book. The first sign I was in to a bad listen was when the narrator actually read the table of contents page. I should have stopped there but some of the chapters sounded useful. I didn't get far after that. The narrator is overtly cheerful. The writer apparently feels the need to over simply some things, then use jargon without clearly explaining what the meaning is in the same chapter. I only hope this book just reads badly as a audio. Perhaps there are illustrations that include vocabulary or better explanations in the actual book. As an audio book, it is a waist of time and money and is grating to attempt to listen to.
