Every woman is searching for a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life. Many realize the significant role that an intimate, tightly knit circle of friends plays in creating a more fulfilling life, but with hectic schedules, frequent moves, and life changes, it's more important than ever for women to establish natural, meaningful friendships that will contribute to their overall wellbeing.

In Friendships Don't Just Happen!, Shasta Nelson, friendship expert and CEO of GirlFriendCircles.com, reveals the most important proven steps, processes, and secrets vital to establishing the five different levels of friendships, or Circles of Connectedness, that women - no matter their age or relationship status - are longing for in today's stressful and mobile culture. Practical tools for making deep genuine friends

A few years ago- I vividly remember feeling dissatisfied with the amount of genuine girl friends I had. Now, I feel like I almost have more than I can manage. This good gave me the tools to take strangers that I just met and turn them into the closest of friends. The amount of women that have thanked me for taking the initiative and creating the opportunity for our circle to become a circle is so gratifying. This is a book I have listened to time and time again as I know there is still more wisdom I can reap. But like all books - it’s only amazing if you take action on her suggestions.

Loved it!!!!

Not many books speak to me but this one did. I have purchased several hardcovers for my Circle of Friends for Christmas gifts.

Hope to revise this review soon...

I’m almost 4 hours in and she’s still listing and re-listing WHY it’s important to develop female friendships... I believe you! That’s why I bought your book! When will you tell me HOW?!

Computer voice - irritating!

I was unable to appreciate the content of this book because the reading voice sounded computer generated. Very distracting and irritating - to the point that I ended up abandoning the book!

Decent material, horrible narration

So many good points made in this book about how we make and keep friendships, but the narration is so horrible it makes it hard to listen to. I'd skip the audible version and consider the book version instead. It's like a bad computer voice reading the words in an odd, disconnected manner.
