I requested this book in exchange for my honest review to help my husband with his online business.
Even though this listen is short I did learn a few things.
I do agree with other reviews though the enthusiastic narration given by Harry Roger Williams was the best part of this book.

I'm not sure why so many of the other reviewers were so critical of this book. The reason it didn't mention technology specifics on the mechanics of creating an ezine in terms of what tools to use is because that's what GOOGLE is for! Look stuff up for yourself. If this book had mentioned specific auto-responders, etc., I would have scoffed. You know why? The book would have dated itself in about 6 months when those companies went out of business or got bought up by Yahoo or Google or Amazon.
The author did us a favor my not naming names. Anyone truly interested in starting an ezine had better have the talent to be able to Google some answers, or you shouldn't be looking to start an online business int eh first place. I mean, come on guys.
The narrator was peppy and upbeat. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book inspired me to possibly start a blog if not an ezine. If anything, the author may have overestimated the amount of money to be made if someone was to do this full-time, but that's only because he didn't give us his own success story. I would have liked to have heard his story and how long it took for him to make money and how much,etc. That's the only specific I would have wanted to hear to get a rough idea.
And I wouldn't even have minded if he offered his services as a consultant! A nice listen if this is of keen interest to you, and well-written.

While this audiobook gives out some good information about ezine publishing, it felt much more like a pushy sales pitch. I didn’t like some of the ideas that were included; for example, the author suggests that you would require a blog in order to create a customer base, but then suggests hiring ghost writers and plagiarism (pretty much).
Also “unless he’s a weird crossdresser” made me feel uncomfortable. The entire audiobook felt like a push to be the same as everybody else but different. It just didn’t work, and I didn’t like it.
