Not excellent, but a step in the right direction
I came into this hoping for a solid new player guide explaining each aspect of the game and the potential career paths. This was my own fault for expecting this, because the contents match literally what the description says, facts only.
This is basically a fairly well narrated user manual you might get in an old PlayStation game when they used to come with basic game mechanics and controls.
This guide does not cover career paths or how to 's. this guide covers terminology explanation and some very basic recommendations on specific equipment and skills to use to get a certain result, without specifying a specific path this would benefit.
It is informational, just very short and to the point for a brand new player looking for some basic explanations.
I have always loved the idea of an audiobook coming out as a full in depth player guide to what your options are, how to go about beginning in those options alongside terminology explanation. This is not that, but has the potential to go in the right direction with another book.
