Important book that needs to be listen with care
Healing Your Emotional Self is an excellent book to read, regardless of what kind of family-of-origin experiences you had.
Empaths are highly sensitive, finely tuned instruments when it comes to emotions. They feel everything, sometimes to an extreme, and are less apt to intellectualize feelings. Intuition is the filter through which they experience the world. Empaths are naturally giving, spiritually attuned, and good listeners.
Being an empath is not easy especially when you’re still not aware that you are one. I was so scared before and thought that I was cursed but through the help of other guided and gifted people and with the guidance as well of this book, slowly I was able to understand and better use of this gift. I am now free from the idea of being cursed and shifted to the thought of grace; gifted. Thank you! I really appreciate this beautiful book.
However, the book explained these traits and I felt a bit better about myself.

So much helpful information in a relatively short read. There are many helpful techniques explained clearly on how to manage and celebrate a sensitive nature. For those who have spent their life, being told " you're too sensitive", this book is a blessed relief. The authors expressed intention, is for the reader to be able to appreciate and celebrate their gift.
