Cutting-edge, accessible, and practical

Would you consider the audio edition of Emotional Resilience: How to be Agile, Adaptable and Perform at Your Best to be better than the print version?

Both audio and print versions are excellent-- I purchased both because I learn best with repeated exposure to materials in multiple formats.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Emotional Resilience: How to be Agile, Adaptable and Perform at Your Best?

I especially appreciated the presentation of essential aspects of emotional resilience like self-worth and how it is created over time in our lives.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The discussion of group empathy was novel and very useful or my work with teams within organizations.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt inspired to practice the concepts Geetu introduced and to teach them to others.

Any additional comments?

Emotional Resilience is a worthwhile addition to anyone’s library for three reasons: (1) it introduces and explains leading-edge concepts surrounding emotion that are relevant and meaningful for personal, professional, and organizational success; (2) many of the ideas presented are nuanced and complex from a psychological standpoint, but they are presented in a manner that is accessible, understandable, and abundantly clear; and (3) it provides practical, ready-to-use information, both in terms of the author’s deep experience as to how these ideas work in the real world, as well as strategies, tools, and exercises that allow readers to learn and implement them. I will be recommending this book to my family, friends, colleagues, and clients for years to come.
