Publisher's Summary

Is "hustle and grind" really the message of the New Way? Is financial freedom really what it's about? Is "living life on our terms" really the summit of this mission? Is the New Way about becoming more successful than our generations before us?
This book is a playful conversation about the new way to live, lead, earn, and give. It is a collection of insights and ideas about how we can, and how we are, changing the world. It's an invitation to the New Superheroes - the people all over the world who give a shit about each other and our earth - to lighten up in our work as game changers. It's a time stamp so that our kids and their kids can hear it and say, "oh, so that's what you were growing through back then."
The New Way is not just about having more money at the end of the month. Success as we'd been taught isn't sufficient. Success to our generation looked and felt completely different to what it looked and felt like to generations before us. The religious separation that our parents' generation know is torturing our hearts. Our planet isn't a place for us to holiday, but a place of permanent residence with the requirement that we nurture and love our Mother Earth as our one collective mother. There is no "top" when it comes to leadership, but instead we're all about the power of tribe. We don't care to move forward at lightning speed, but would rather to stop and go back to our indigenous roots and ensure that ancient wisdoms are never forgotten. Taking care of our brothers and sisters who are without basic necessities is the only way we all win. Play is everything.
We're here to change the world, but we've gotta stop taking it so seriously.
We're here to use our talents and abilities to create epic shit, but we've gotta stop missing the point along the way. It's time for us to thrive like no generation before us ever has.
It's time for us to show the world how good it's really meant to be.

Millennials UBER ALLES

What would have made Earth Is Hiring better?

From the description, I thought this book was written by a progressive. Instead, it is a millennial having an identity crisis. She actually says her generation's genes are SUPERIOR. The books cover appears like a hippie from the 60's - cool it is a new generation taking up the torch but from her perspective, THEY ARE THE MASTER GENERATION. AGAIN SHE EVEN SAYS THEY ARE EVOLUTION HIGHER WITH SUPERIOR GENES. She is a HYPOCRITE (read the full review.)

Would you ever listen to anything by Peta Kelly again?

How could the performance have been better?

Stop her hypocrisy. and self-righteousness.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

She preaches that her tribe (Millenials) will not allow corporations to abuse them. Then she worships STEVE JOBS. This is the guy who made billions exploiting MILLENIALS in CHINA. She talks about building a business so her mom could retire. Yet these same MILLENIALS in CHINA tried to help their parents. They worked making APPLE PRODUCTS at FOXXCOM. They worked long hard hours. Their pay was somewhat higher than in the interior of Chian where they were recruited. These poor MILLENIALS worked like dogs making STEVE JOBS rich. They worked so hard, long hours and stuck with the conflict of their pain or not being able to help their parents just live. The conflict was so intense for these MILLENIALS that they COMMITTED SUICIDE.

The company had to place suicide prevention nets around the barracks they lived in. You see MS. Kelly while you "suffered" with your "divine discontent" - a term she took from Hippie writers, these young Millenials in China suffered under SLAVERY conditions so you could get your TOYS. This is how your HERO Steve Jobs made his billions. They committed SUICIDE so build your TRIBAL IDENTITY on that!

This hippie says POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

Any additional comments?

Do NOT BUY THIS BOOK. If you are a Millenial is your idea of Spiritual Power to be based on EXCLUSION and glorification of Steve Jobs?

A book for everyone!

I highly recommend this book to all humans!
No matter when you’re born or what category society puts us into. It’s casually written and read by the self published author who is real and raw AF.
A beautiful depiction of life on planet earth and an empowering proposition for you (me) to step up into the light.

Personally, it felt like this book was written for me. I know many have felt like this when reading it. I’ve gifted it to my stepdaughter and shared it with friends. This is definitely a book and topic worth sinking your teeth into if you’re ready for a communal and harmonious deep reverence for Mother Earth with soul quenching juiciness that is just so damn familiar 😉
It’s like a melding of all the important and life changing books I’ve read that leaves me feeling refreshed and excited to be on Team Earth 🌏 in a movement so close to my heart ❤️ thanks PK. 💐 #nailedit

Everyone needs to read this book!

Just a few chapters in, I was in love with Peta's energy, drive, passion and message and it resonated with me so deeply. I loved it so much that I had to order the hardcover. She is so utterly inspiring and everyone who wants to better for our planet and for your own self will benefit sooooo much from the message. It really helped me look at the world in a postive light when shit seems to be hitting the fan non stop! No one is really talking about this in the way that it needs to be talked about but I am glad that is out there in the world! I will definitely be re-reading this over and over again! AGAIN- EVERY HUMAN BEING NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK!
