A Cayce jewel

If you are familiar with Edgar Cayce, this CD should be a part of your collection. All of the Cayce audios done by this narrator are very good. This audio gives some basic information about Cayce's life and his ideas of what the nature of the higher self is as well as how to manifest or channel it.

Struck a chord

Where does Channeling Your Higher Self rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best for material and narration. Very well presented, easy to follow and a pleasure to listen to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Channeling Your Higher Self?

The explanation of favoring searching for connection with ones own higher self opposed to trusting communication with random past souls through mediums.

Which character – as performed by Stanley Ralph Ross – was your favorite?

Does not apply.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Channeling Your Higher Self?

Calm love and visualization, traveling to the library on a mountain top, being greeted by a friendly face who took my written request and returned with a written answer I put in my pocket and returned to my home.

Any additional comments?

Some reviews complained of the repetition, I found the repetition very soothing and useful for growing accustomed to the techniques and exercises.

Really hard to listen to!

Each chapter repeats and it is maddening! The content might be very informative but it is challenging to listen to with all of the repetition.

Not by Edgar Cayce

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one. Do not waste your money!

Any additional comments?

The narrator mentions Cayce and always refers to him in the third person. The chapters repeat themselves, ie 1-2 exact same, 3-4 same and so on, probably to extend the published narration time in order to make it seem worth the price. This is a guided meditation similar to what you can get on youtube for free!

Could have been a better book

if it did not have many repeated sections. The repetition really broke the flow of the material, rendering this book annoying, instead of elating.

Great Insight

Great insight into self. What I didn't like was that once I got deep into the image being spoken, it takes it took me out way too fast. But, I found that using the visions on my own without the audio works real well.

Meh

What would have made Channeling Your Higher Self better?

the guided meditation is choppy and lacks description and fluidity. There is way too much hype in the beginning. It's worthless.

Has Channeling Your Higher Self turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes

How did the narrator detract from the book?

a little

What character would you cut from Channeling Your Higher Self?

it just meaningless babel

Any additional comments?

Fair

Each chapter repeats itself in the following chapter. The book is only half the length stated due to this repetition of chapters.

Would like a different narrator.

The book was nice but the narrators voice was not to my liking which made me loose interest.
