Solid overview of the "sweet science"

Would you consider the audio edition of Boxing for Beginners to be better than the print version?

Haven't read the print version so there might be some useful illustrations that obviously are missing from the audiobook but the author provides clear instruction so illustrations aren't terribly necessary.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Boxing for Beginners?

Honestly, the narrator's unortunate pronunciation of Manny Pacquiao's name.

What three words best describe Jim D. Johnston’s performance?

Competent. Clear. Boxing-novice (four words, I know)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It wasn't that kind of book

Any additional comments?

The book was a great overview of the sport and especially useful for a boxing fan like myself. I don't plan to get in the ring myself but I would say any true boxing fan interested in becoming a more intelligent viewer would greatly benefit from a book like this. It won't take up much of your time, it's cheap and fairly thorough. It will add another layer of appreciation when you're watching guys like GGG and Andre Ward in the ring!
