Publisher's Summary

There are many things in adult life that no one seems to teach you about. Learning experiences may vary, but many valuable life skills seem untaught in the modern education system, and one of them is reading body language.
Body language plays a vital role in communication, yet many don't know how to interpret body language or how to control their own body language so that they seem trustworthy to others. Everyone knows of its existence, but many don't use it or know what all the different gestures mean. You'll be surprised at how many people will think you're a bad person just because you didn't look them in the eye. Do you have trouble getting a job? If so, your lack of body language may be to blame. No one likes an interviewee who looks slouched. You'll learn:

What is body language?
Interpreting the head and face
Learning to use body language
Body language in other cultures
Much, much more!

Great, I really enjoyed it!

I am enjoying reading this book and i'm learning a lot about reading others people's body language and also learing about my own body language, and how to change my body language so i send more postive and open signs. The Power of Body Language was an interesting read for the most part and I found some tips that I utilized right away. But I am finding the information very useful and interesting. Great book. And easy to understand.

Jimmy Cooper has done everyone who wanted to improve the manner in which they are seen by others a huge favor by writing this book.

A manual on body language!

I just listened to this a second time and I decided that there will be a third and fourth listen. While it would be helpful to have pictures of the expressions that are mentioned, everything else about this book is impeccable. Sometimes you may lose track of what is being narrated. Just start over and pay close attention. very informative, but sometimes hard to relate because the narrator has a monotone voice.
