The man who created Bluefish, the internationally famous company that makes once-in-a-lifetime events happen for the rich and famous, reveals to the rest of us his trade secrets for making things happen.

Steve Sims' day job is to make the impossible possible. With his help and expertise, his clients' fantasies and wildest dreams come true. Getting married by the Pope in the Vatican, being serenaded by Elton John, and connecting with powerful business moguls like Elon Musk are just a few of the many projects he has worked on. He rarely reveals how he accomplishes the feats that make his clients so happy. But now for the first time, Steve shares his practical tips, techniques, and strategies to help listeners break down any obstacle and turn their dreams into reality.

The core of his philosophy focuses on simple yet effective ways to sharpen the mind and gain practical skills that can help you learn a new perspective and accomplish anything. Whether it's climbing Mount Everest, launching a business, or applying for a dream job, you can make incredible things happen for yourself by applying his insightful advice, such as:

  • ask why three times,
  • never be the first call, and
  • don't be easy to understand, be impossible to misunderstand.

With colorful and enlightening stories of people driven to achieve the impossible, this book will inspire you to transform your life and aim for the unthinkable.

Hella good

I like this guy's style. Steve offers short & practical wisdom, and has compelling stories to back it up. He has a no-nonsense way of telling you how to get everything you want without being an asshole. Plus his accent makes me feel like I'm hearing it from the Scottish Uncle I wish I had! This man is living a very full life, and I trust and respect his advice. He's got passion & grit. Will definitely be listening again.

Well worth the listen!

Steve is one of my favorite people to study because his resource isn’t money, but resourcefulness. Which is freely available to all of us. He has managed all he has done in life because he is focused on his clients and the people in his life. To me this strips away any excuse I have of not having the money or knowledge to do something and that is very inspiring. This book is a rear view mirror look at the principles and tactics that lead to Steve’s resourcefulness. Tony Robbins says resourcefulness is the ultimate human resource and Steve’s life lives that principle out over and over. Great listen. I don’t like some of the crass language he uses but I do appreciate his authenticity and his good nature comes through despite the occasional loving use of four letter words. Worth the time!

Refreshing and Genuine

This book woke me up and got me dreaming and thinking big again. Language was a bit vulgar, but his message was good enough for me to finish it.

Consistently great advice!

As I rapidly approach my 75th birthday and retired many years ago to spend time with my grandchildren, I'm not part of the natural target audience for Steve Sims' book. I seldom find any book that I agree with on every point, but Bluefishing is an exception. All of Steve's advice is excellent.

I’d consider coming off the wagon

Seriously. After over 15 years of sobriety, I’d consider coming off the wagon? Not really, but after listening to this book, Sims like the kind of guy that would be fun to hang out at a whiskey bar with.

Love the book and there’s some simple things in here that will be easy to implement, not to
mention, there are no shortage of reminders that anything is possible, if you’re willing to
commit and work to be the best at what you do

Thanks Sims

The Marriage of Storytelling & Practical

Whether you are looking to change your professional brand in the industry, or to develop an edge in the job market, or simply to change your personal brand among friends, this book is absolutely for you!
I knew I was in for a treat when I saw that the narrator was the author himself. I found myself giggling and laughing like a little boy during the reading and motivated to take massive action after every chapter! Raw authenticity, captivating story-telling, and full of practical guidelines that can be applied, now, today. For example, I started sending voice communication to clients and friends, and I immediately saw a change in both the quality and rate of responses!
I came across this book as recommended by a mutual friend of the author himself and mentor of mine, which tells you, he actually lives and applies what he talks about! It is one of those books that I look forward to reading many times, every few months, to see what nuggets of wisdom lay buried in it throughout the years!

A poor man's Tony Robbins

Steve Simms has got it all figured out. He'll make you feel good about yourself. He'll make you believe in yourself. If he did it anyone can do it. Anyone in the exact same circumstances as him of course. This is one of the most well meant self-help books I've come through, but I wish the philosophy was as simple as that. It isn't though. Simms argues about doping rather than over analyzing, but I believe the world to be different and experiences ever more particular to each individual.

A Clear and Refreshing Approach To Relationships

Besides the fact that Steve's voice and narration are incredible engaging and entertaining, the content is gold. Steve takes a very unique, yet simple approach to building genuine connection with the the people who touch his life, be it clients, friends, family and employees. He is brutally honest about the obsession with social media and rather loves to use the old fashion approach; handwriting, small thought provoking gifts and personal attention. In a day and age where faceless communication dominates, Steve gives real practical and useful advice. One of the memorable bits of wisdom is his chug test. This test helps define if one should keep or drop a relationship. If you wouldn't chug a beer with that person, it's probably time to drop that relationship. Conversely, build relationships with people you would want to chug a beer with. Simple, yet thought provoking and wise. This audio book is a short listen and a worthwhile one at that. If you are looking to improve your personal relationships, or just want some insight into the man who can make it happen, this is a recommended listen.
