Beautifully done

I've listened while doing the dishes and I've listened while sitting quietly; the first was interesting and the latter was profoundly moving.

Snap, crackle, pop!

I think this might have been a really interesting book, but there were some issues with the recording that made it almost impossible to listen to. Throughout, there are all kinds of crackling and clicking sounds that are magnified to a distracting degree. I think the narrator had a really dry mouth and that the microphone was too sensitive. The fact that this is a quiet kind of book with lots of pauses made the distracting noises even more noticeable. I stuck with it to the end because it was so short, but for me the book was really un-listenable.
