Publisher's Summary

Widely considered the greatest self-help book of all-time, As a Man Thinketh reveals how our thoughts determine our character, circumstances, health, appearance, and achievements. The choice is yours: either master your mind to create the life you want, or remain mired in frustration and failure.
While James Allen's writing was exceptionally clear for its time, As a Man Thinketh - like any 100-year-old book - uses archaic language that can be difficult to grasp. This 21st Century Edition rephrases Allen's ideas in contemporary English, making his wisdom available to today's readers.

Great message, sleepy listen

The content is wonderful and poetic. The reader is not dynamic, so it’s extremely challenging to stay focused on the message. It can lull you.

Simply outstanding!

Thank you Mr. Conrad for updating this amazing work. I have come across the title many times in life and somehow this is the first time I have experienced it. It's so clearly and concisely expresses what I believe to be true. It is both the cornerstone and the capstone of a body of knowledge with which people can transform lives, and indeed the world.
