Publisher's Summary

As you think, so you are. As you are, so you act. As you act, so you attract.
Often called the greatest self-help book of all-time, As a Man Thinketh reveals how our thoughts determine our character, circumstances, health, appearance, and achievements. The choice is ours: either master our thoughts to create the life we want, or remain mired in frustration and failure.
While James Allen's writing was exceptionally clear for its time, As a Man Thinketh - like any 100-year-old book - uses archaic language that can be difficult to grasp. This 21st-century edition rephrases James' ideas in contemporary English, making his wisdom available to today's listeners.

Simply outstanding!

Thank you Mr. Conrad for updating this amazing work. I have come across the title many times in life and somehow this is the first time I have experienced it. It's so clearly and concisely expresses what I believe to be true. It is both the cornerstone and the capstone of a body of knowledge with which people can transform lives, and indeed the world.

The Father of Self Help

I had listened to this year's ago and it was profound then, and a little over my head. This time around, with a few more years, time reflecting, and life experiences, I heard it differently. I foresee another encounter with Allen's wisdom in the future. I will also be passing it along to some friends and peers.
